The 365 - 11/4/17 - Day 104

Happy Belated Saturday - In continuing with the post from yesterday, I thought I would share the other image I made from the Berlin Airlift memorial in Rapid City.  This image is of one of the tank traps that was used near the Berlin Wall during the 1960's.  In fitting with my metal series, I used the B&W approach to highlight the texture in the metal.  The grit in the metal symbolized its purpose.  This was not a contraption made for form, but rather for function.  It's rough appearance was a product of rapid necessity it needed to be deployed.  This image focuses on that.  Enjoy your Saturday -
