In what for many might be the last weekend before schools start back up, I thought it would be cheeky to post one more photo here from the beach. This shot was taken for a photography class a year or two back. I was trying to really play up color as a the subject here (the red, the yellow, and the blues). For those that know me, my color blindness issues do make this kind of photo a very scary one for me (another reason my work tends to head in the B&W direction). My instructor gave me some great feedback on this one, which in hindsight I do agree with (crop was too tight), and I do think I could have worked a few more angles here to find even something better. However, I look back at this image quite a bit (hence the post) and remind myself that I can look for subjects that challenge me (color in particular) and I can be successful with them. I suppose there is a life lesson there - Enjoy your Saturday!
